Faced with a restrictive electricity easement along the boundary, the design strategy does not fight the limitation but embraces it, carving out a generous lateral courtyard that becomes the lungs of the home. In a context where neighbouring buildings hug the boundaries, this new open space unlocks critical solar access and cross-ventilation for the living zones. The interior responds with a bold, contemporary confidence. By pairing warm, natural timber with a striking dark palette, the design creates a sophisticated, grounded atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with the abundant natural light flooding in from the garden.
